With an active license, updates are automatic: when a new version of Aphelion is released, it shows up in your WordPress dashboard under Dashboard → Updates and on the Appearance → Themes screen, and installs with one click — the same way plugin updates work. This is the recommended way to update.
If you prefer to update manually, or your license has expired:
- Log in to the Freemius User Dashboard with your checkout email and download the latest
aphelion.zip. - Go to Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme and upload it. WordPress will detect the existing installation and offer to replace the current version with the uploaded one — confirm it.
Site Editor customizations, your content and your settings are stored in the database and are not affected by theme updates. If you’ve modified theme files directly, use a Child Theme so updates don’t overwrite your changes.
